QUESTIONS AND THE FINE PRINT
Your piece of Tori Foster Silver Jewellery will be a handmade, hand cut and textured treasure. Because of this, some variations from product photography may occur. Semi precious stones can have colour variations and occlusions. Some items are ready made and available straightaway. Any made to order products have a 4 week lead time currently unless it needs Hallmarking in which case it may be slightly longer.
If you are ordering a bespoke piece of jewellery from me, I require a 50% deposit at time of placing your order to cover materials. This is non refundable. The remaining balance will need to be paid in full before I can ship the item.
I use Royal Mail services to send you your new treasure. Postage occurs weekly on a Tuesday, feel free to contact me if you would like your piece quicker. This depends on my current workload and cannot be guaranteed. There may be additional postage fees as a result of this but these will all be discussed.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
I hope you are completely satisfied with your new jewellery. If this isn't the case, please contact me within 14 days and we can arrange a refund or you could exchange for a different product. The cost of the item can only be fully refunded when the item has been returned to me, unworn, in perfect condition and with its packaging. The return postage is to be paid by the customer, I highly advise using a signed for and tracked delivery service so that the jewellery is insured if it gets lost in the post. If you use another method this will be at your own risk and I will be unable to complete the refund.
This does not apply to custom made pieces and personalised pieces.
All earrings are non refundable.
I take great care making your jewellery so it can become an heirloom piece. I want you to be able to enjoy it forever.
It should be the last thing on and the first thing off and stored in a safe place. Perfumes and washing can cause damage, especially to certain stones which could be permanently destroyed.
Please also remove before doing anything strenuous that could cause damage, speaking from experience after a few bent rings while gardening. Do as I say, not as I do!
Sterling Silver is susceptible to tarnish over time, this is easy to remove with a silver cloth by gentle rubbing, taking care around stones and any oxidised areas.
Oxidation is not permanent, it will gradually polish up and lose its blackness over time. Sometimes this really adds to a piece as any highlights or textures are brought out. If you would like a piece reoxidising I can do this for a small fee.
All necklaces include their chains. These can be shortened or lengthened if need be. Handmade chains can be repaired, this will be clearly stated in the description however any ready made ones may need to be replaced if damaged. There will be a fee involved for this.
I hope this answers any questions you may have, if I've missed anything please reach out and get in touch.
